The history of “La Caporala” is deeply rooted in the last century and is intertwined with the Lonardi Family, who decided in 2014 to renovate the their farm that they had purchased back in 1912. For decades it had been a point of reference for farmers and merchants, and these historical spaces were carefully restored with modern redevelopment techniques. The property has become an hotel that carries with it so many stories and emotions. But “La Caporala” is also a project that aims to be a part of a sustainable future, remaining faithful to the close connection with the surrounding land, the animals, and five generations of a family that has taken care of a precious place that lies just a stone’s throw from Verona.

Spacious rooms, with lots of light streaming in from the large garden, also offer you the possibility to stay connected with the digital world or to simply take a break and have some down time all to yourself. All our beds are King Size, and to make your time with us even more special, we have partnered with Dorelan Hotel for all our mattresses and pillows.

Homemade, made with love. A good breakfast is the best way to start the day, which is why we focus on quality and the excellence of homemade with love. We have two exceptional breakfast chefs: Liana and Michele, who every morning carefully and lovingly prepare sweet and savory selections from scratch. Cakes and pies are one of our specialties, all made by Liana with Michele’s help as well. High-quality raw materials, seasonal and curated products, traditional recipes, and preparations suitable for vegans and guests with food intolerances: our homemade buffet is a delight for everyone’s palate.
